Poster study in response to The Gesture of Writing, by Vilem Flusser. Seemingly a meditation on the human need to write, Flusser compares writing to a Mesopotamia brick — a call back to the history of writing where one would engrave into stone. He goes on to argue that without writing ideas are incomplete. Writing gives form to thought, thereby solidifying them. And much like writing, design [and designers] have an urgent need to put form to ideas.
