Softness V.1
Collaborative publication series
with inserts of varying sizes
Volume 1: edition of 20
Softness, as a concept and practice, has historically been marginalized in mainstream discourse as often associated with weakness or lack of resilience. This project seeks to question softness and its various dimensions which shape our socio-political and cultural landscapes in subtle yet significant ways.
Intended as an incomplete collection with open authorship, this project attempts to contribute to a more holistic understanding of the role of softness in our lives. We recognize and observe the sociopolitical dimensions of softness and its recent surge globally. Through the act of gathering, we examine how softness may operate as a form of resistance against the rigid frameworks of power that dominate current geopolitical landscapes.
